Symetrica require regular exhibition work across the world, the current product focus is radiation detection portals and the associated software (Discovery). An illustrative approach was best, not only to be able to use at scale (for exhibitions and banners) but also to create generic vehicles where the chief focus was still on the portal. The image will also have greater longevity and can be easily manipulated to fit the scene. The truck was coloured to set it back from the portal and white and cyan emission lines emulated radiation waves from the crate. The back 3 panels provided visual support as screenshots while the monitor displayed a ‘live’ feed from a port location.
This artwork has been displayed in Amsterdam, Cairo and London to an international audience from homeland security through to port/airport authorities.
