Branding

Tweed Forum Logo

Tweed Forum was formed to protect, enhance and restore the rich natural, built and cultural heritage of the River Tweed (Scotland) and its tributaries, growing to become a leader in the field of integrated land and water management.

Modernised from an existing logo, previous serif text was replaced by a unique customised font using gentle curves at the terminals and stems to reflect the nature of the business.

The custom font in mixed case was also used to brand the newsletter ‘Tweed Matters’ shown here.

Colours were adapted to deepen the blue and lighten the green to create a greater contrast, both having enough contrast to allow for white text overlays within the branding guidelines.

The logo block was also redrawn to have a natural sweep and left offset for greater interest, drawing the eye towards the baseline text.
